REAL Hydronic Air Handlers
The goal of the technicians at Sure Marine Service is to design the REAL with enough flexibility to fit the needs of any installation. Drawing on decades of installation and servicing experience, the REAL has been refined to provide simplified installation and reliable performance.
Sure Marine carries a wide variety of heat exchangers, expansion tanks, circulation pumps, grilles and ducting to satisfy any of your installation needs.
Unlike any other fan heater, the REAL can be mounted with the hose barbs on either side. Bleeder fittings are installed on both hose connections to allow for air bleeding and the footprint sold with each heater can be mounted on either side.
Every REAL is fitted with 3/4" NPT on the hose connections to allow for different sizes of hose barbs or different types of connection. If your engine requires a 5/8" hose, the REAL can be adapted to a 5/8" hose barb. If you are using 3/4" PEX for your heating system, the REAL can be fitted with 3/4" PEX connections. Every REAL fan heater may use an optional High/Low fan speed switch. By running the already quiet computer fans on low it makes them almost inaudible.
Every REAL defroster comes with a convenient three speed switch panel.
Every REAL model is available in 12 or 24 volt DC configurations. The use of box style and squirrel cage fans allows you to tailor your system to meet your sound and air volume needs.
Every flush-mount fan heater comes complete with a grille. You can specify a white, black, brass or stainless steel grille to match the interior of your boat.
 The REAL defroster series are rated from 10,000 to 40,000 btu. Each unit comes with a three-speed switch, switch plate, and ducting, clamps, and grills specific to the individual model.

 The REAL fan heater series are rated from 3,500 to 14,000 btu. Each unit comes with ducting, clamps, and grills specific to the individual model.

 The REAL 8000 series combo heater/defrosters allows for heat and defrost in one compact unit. The internal baffles of this unit separate the high output defrost fan from the lower output fan heater. Each fan can be separately controlled.
