Defrosters
All models (except for the 5000 series) come with reversible air bleed screws which allow for mounting with the coolant lines on the left, right or top. Each unit comes with a three-speed switch, switch plate, and ducting, clamps, and grills specific to the individual model.
The 5000 series is a high-output low profile defroster rated to 10,000 btu. Use the low profile defroster when space and amperage are limited. Each unit can be used as a main cabin heater or for defrost.
The 5200-LP series is a high-output low profile defroster rated to 15,000 btu. Use the low profile defroster when space and amperage are limited. Each unit can be used as a main cabin heater or for defrost.
The 5200 series is a high-output defroster rated to 20,000 btu. The higher output fan on these heaters will defrost and heat larger areas faster that lower amp models. Each unit can be used as a main cabin heater or for defrost.
The 5400 series is a high-output defroster rated to 25,000 btu. The higher output fan on these heaters will defrost and heat larger areas faster that lower amp models. Each unit can be used as a main cabin heater or for defrost.
The 9000-LP series is a high-output low profile defroster rated to 30,000 btu. Each unit can heat two separate areas (with optional second control switch) as the heater core has baffles that separate the fans or twice the output with a single control.

The 9000 series is a high-output defroster rated to 40,000 btu. Each unit can heat two separate areas (with optional second control switch) as the heater core has baffles that separate the fans or twice the output with a single control.
