Typically this is used with the Y-Connector to extend the distance between two sections of RGB Strip Tape. Common applications on boats would be under gunnel lighting in large fishing boats where more than 16' of RGB Strip Tape is needed and one of the two sections needs to be located far from the controller.
We recommend securing any 4-pin connection with shrink wrap for added security and water-tight fit.
