These new ice makers stand out with the new style of latches and the same curved centrally located handles that match the new Vitrifrigo DWR series units. The Steelock latch also includes the same vent position and adjustable mounting flanges as the DRW drawers offer. A feature totally unique to this new series is a new digital control system which provides the option of turning off the ice production, then removing the ice storage tray making the unit into an auxiliary freezer with temperature control.
